Sorbent Technologies Inc Activated Alumina Spheres, 1/8in, 3.2mm, 500g
The activated alumina spheres are very porous, have a high surface area, and do not change form. They will not soften or disintegrate when immersed in liquids. When used to adsorb water, they act as an efficient desiccant. Molecules with the highest polarity are preferentially adsorbed. In the absence of irreversible fowling, they may be regenerated by heating to a temperature between 177-316C. Applications: Drying and purification of organic liquids and gases; adsorption of heavy metals such as fluorides, phosphates, arsenic acids, and humic acids; purification of processing liquids, industrial water, and waste water by removing highly polar compounds such as: TBC, alcohols, ethers, etc.; removal of acids formed from the degradation of transformer oils, lubricating oils, and refrigerants; removal of residual halides and water during the manufacture of chlorinated and/or fluorinated hydrocarbons, yielding a non-corrosive product.

Biotage Sfär Silica D - Duo 60 μm is the ideal solution for standard separations that require a reliable normal phase media and the flexibility of loading the samples in different ways.Sfär means “Sphere” in the Swedish mother tongue of Biotage and indicates that spherical silica is used in these columns. Spherical silica has many advantages, higher surface area, higher loading capacities, tighter elution bands and purer fractions. These empty flash cartridges come ready for you to easily pack and repack them with any adsorbent. This solvent resistant polypropylene cartridge has a volume of 5ml. Cartridges are rated at 200 psi (13.8 bar). The cartridge has a luer lock connection at the top and bottom. Pack includes cartridges, top and bottom frits, o-rings, and dispersing inserts. For use with Sorbent Technologies' Silica Gels, Aluminas, and other adsorbents.
Biotage Sfär DLV Empty 100g Column with Frit
Biotage DLV (Dry Load Vessel) systems provide a convenient in-line means for introducing samples. With maximum flexibility, users place the needed amount of adsorbent inside the DLV and then attach to any Biotage Sfar column or flash chromatography column with luer fittings. Biotage DLVs work well on Biotage Sfar Duo columns when larger quantities of sorbant material are needed.Come in a pack of 20 with 20 frits. These are empty vessels and can accomodate up to approximately 50-100 grams of most sorbants, such as silica gel.Compatible with Biotage part number DLV-050. Note that the DLV-0000-0100 is quite long and the plunger of the DLV-050 can accomodate as little as 50 grams of sorbant. If you will be using less sorbant, the DLV-000-0050 is needed.
